Email Notifications

Qualiti makes it easy to stay informed about your test results without having to log in. With email notifications, you can receive updates when test plans and runs complete, or when failures occur. This keeps your team engaged and accelerates triage and resolution.

Notification Settings

  • Go to your Account Settings page by clicking your avatar in the top right and selecting Account
  • Under the Notifications section, choose which events trigger notifications:
    • Plan is completed
    • Plan has test failures
    • Execution has failures
  • For each event, enable notifications by toggling the corresponding switch.

Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your Qualiti account. Notification settings are user-specific and apply to all plans and executions. You cannot currently configure notifications for specific projects or objects.

Notification Types

Notifications currently include the type of event (plan completed, plan failed, or execution failed) and a link to the relevant plan or execution.

To avoid duplicate alerts, Qualiti uses a precedence system to determine which notification to send when multiple conditions are met during a test execution.

The order of precedence is:

  1. Plan Completed
  2. Plan Failed
  3. Execution Failed

This means:

  • If a test fails as part of a plan run, only the Plan Failed notification will be sent (not Execution Failed).
  • If the Plan Completed notification is toggled ON, it overrides both Plan Failed and Execution Failed notifications—even if failures occurred—so only the completion notification will be sent.

This logic ensures you receive a single, relevant update per event without redundant notifications.

Why am I not receiving any notifications?

  • Ensure you have toggled ON at least one condition under Notifications.
  • Verify your email address is correct.
